My husband is from NYC & said the Eggplant was best he has had in Maine. The portion is enough for two meals. My husband will be going back with me when we return from Florida in the spring. The waitress Lori was the Best. The owners are fantastic! ”

“ It felt like a spaghetti and meatballs night tonight and the Village Pizzeria did not disappoint! Meatballs were tender and tasty and the heaping serving ensured we would be getting multiple meals from this order. We had some onion rings as a starter. Not sure they were home made, but if not, they landed on a delicious frozen brand that hits a nice sweet and crispy balance that is delicious. Service was attentive for how busy it was and our server was pleasant and efficient. It was a bit loud, but that was due to the number of customers - locals clearly know a good thing when they see it! We live about 40 minutes away, but suspect we'll be back. We'll done! ”

Our server was awesome and packed up our order to go so we could get there quickly. Everyone was in a festive mood, and they had a huge bowl of full-size candy bars to treat yourself with on the way out. We warmed up our food later, and it was delicious.
